Who isn’t a big fan of homemade dessert that can be whipped up last minute? I give you maple glazed bananas! Perfect when the occasion calls for something sweet that’s not elaborate to make or clean up. And for the health conscious individual or sugar weary parent, substitute yogurt for the ice cream.
1 tablespoon of butter per person
1 teaspoon of maple syrup per person
1 banana per person
1/4 cup of chopped walnuts
Vanilla ice cream
Heat butter in frying pan on medium heat for 1 minute until melted. Add sliced banana and saute 1 minutes, stirring with wood spoon. Add maple syrup and walnuts and turn heat down to low. Cook and allow everything to soften and brown. Serve hot over vanilla ice cream or yogurt.
