Grilled Bread With Strawberries, Goat Cheese, And Leeks

15 minutes | Serves 8

I’m in love! This combo is out of the ordinary and delicious. I spun off a strawberry leak quesadilla recipe from the sprouted kitchen blog:

Olive oil
Flat bread like ciabatta, cut in half lengthwise
Strawberries, chopped
The white part of 1 leek, chopped
Goat cheese
Salt and pepper

Sautee leeks in olive oil with salt and pepper for about 10 minutes until they are tender. Place aside. Brush all sides of bread with olive oil and grill at about 350 for 2 minutes on each side. Place slabs of bread on cutting board and cover with layer of goat cheese. DIsperce starberries and leeks to your liking and cut into squares. Transfer to a plater and serve.
